The American Mathematics Competitions (AMC) is the most prestigious and popular Math Contest in USA and was held in IRAQ in  November, 2016.

The American Mathematics Competitions are a series of examinations and curriculum materials that build problem-solving skills and mathematical knowledge in middle and high school students.

It was organized in 7 cities of IRAQ and 635 students participated to AMC 8.

The Tishk International University was the host for AMC 8 and 196 students participated in Erbil.
