TIU – Continuing Education Center organized an online Engineering Evaluation Course for students who wish to explore different academic areas, and develop skills in specific engineering and scientific subjects.
Students participated in the following courses:
1. General Physics: 40 lessons were delivered in 5 weeks (20th of December to the 22th of January, 2022), 4 participants and the final exam was conducted during the 6th and final week. The course was delivered by Mr. Semih Aydin
2. General Chemistry: 40 lessons were delivered in 5 weeks (21th of December to the 30th of January, 2022),4 participants and the final exam was conducted during the 6th and final week. The course was delivered by Mr. Muhamed Muaaed
3.Academic Debate and Critical Thinking: 40 lessons were delivered in 5 weeks (25th of January to the 30th of January, 2022),4 participants and the final exam was conducted during the 6th and final week. The course was delivered by Mr. Batham Hayder
These courses aimed to build:
ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data
ability to function on multi-disciplinary teams
ability to identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems
an understanding of professional and ethical responsibility
a recognition of the need for, and an ability to engage in life-long learning
a knowledge of contemporary issues
an ability to use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice
