Kurdish Course

Tishk International University’s Continuing Education Center (CEC) is pleased to announce the commencement of Kurdish language courses, further expanding its diverse language offerings. As Kurdish is an essential part of the cultural fabric in the region, this course aims to provide students with a deep understanding of the language, enabling them to engage more effectively in both professional and social settings.

The course is designed to cater to a variety of learners, from beginners to those with some prior knowledge of Kurdish. With a focus on practical communication skills, the curriculum will cover speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Students will also explore the rich cultural heritage that the Kurdish language carries, making the learning experience both educational and immersive.

The university environment at Tishk International fosters a collaborative and supportive atmosphere, where students can interact with peers from different backgrounds. The Kurdish language course, like all courses offered at the CEC, benefits from the university’s state-of-the-art facilities and experienced instructors, ensuring a high-quality learning experience.

By offering Kurdish language courses, Tishk International University CEC reaffirms its commitment to providing comprehensive education that meets the needs of its diverse student body. This initiative not only promotes linguistic diversity but also strengthens the cultural connections within the community.

 

Starter and elementary level delivered in 7 weeks:  evening classes were conducted four days a week (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday), from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM. The classes were small; the number of participants is 6, students are able to receive personal guidance and feedback from the instructor.

The course started on the 10 September  2024 and finished 24 March 2025.
